Smooth Media is looking for a full-time newsletter writer to cover the energy and utilities industries—and the paradigm shifts they’re bringing to bear for all of us.
What you'll do:
- Collaborate with the Smooth editorial team to pitch and write top-notch, premium newsletters covering the business of energy
- Provide original research, thoughtful analysis, and creative initiatives that establish this newsletter as a can’t-miss piece of content for energy professionals
- Attend regular meetings with the newsletter’s broader team to develop content strategy, maintain flawless workflows, and commit to improvement
What we're looking for:
- Professional writing and/or journalism experience, newsletter experience preferred
- A well-honed penchant for synthesizing complex information and communicating it succinctly
- A firm grasp of the energy industry, ideally including experience writing about or covering it
- Editorial leadership skills, a willingness to own projects, and the curiosity to explore what comes next for a growing media company
