Community Manager @ Cat Labs

About Smooth

Smooth Media is the talent management company for knowledge creators — the people teaching, explaining, and breaking down the world through smart, insightful content. We serve as a true strategic partner to our creators — an extension of their team that helps them run, grow, and professionalize their business.

About the Role

Smooth manages and represents @AskCatGPT, Creator and Founder of Cat Labs—a creator-first product studio and community space based in Los Angeles. We build at the intersection of technology, creativity, and entrepreneurship — and we bring together the builders, makers, and innovators doing the same. Our space is where ideas meet execution.

We are seeking a highly organized, people-first Community Manager to join the Cat Labs team on-site in Los Angeles. This role begins as a one-month contract with the expectation of conversion to a full-time permanent position for the right candidate.

The Community Manager is the connective tissue of the Cat Labs community. You will be responsible for the day-to-day experience of our builders and the health of our event calendar. You will report directly to the founder and work closely with the core team to ensure Cat Labs is a place where exceptional people want to be.

This is a fully in-person role based at our Los Angeles warehouse space.
